MIGHTY+ MEDIC — FAQs & Troubleshooting
The patient’s MIGHTY+ MEDIC switches off after approximately 2 minutes. Is this normal?
Yes.
The MIGHTY+ MEDIC uses an automatic inactivity safety shut-off.
If the device does not detect enough user interaction, it powers off automatically.
This should not be treated as a fault.
Can the patient disable the MIGHTY+ MEDIC automatic shut-off?
No.
The automatic shut-off is a built-in safety feature and cannot be permanently disabled.
Button interaction resets the inactivity timer.
The patient is inhaling from the MIGHTY+ MEDIC but it still switches off. Why?
Very gentle draws may not always be detected strongly enough as activity.
Please advise the patient that pressing a button resets the inactivity timer.
The patient’s MIGHTY+ MEDIC produces little or no vapour. What should we check?
Please ask the patient to inspect and clean:
- Cooling Unit
- Filling Chamber
- Screens
- Air path
Please also check:
- Material loading
- Selected temperature
- Airflow
Cleaning the Cooling Unit and Filling Chamber should be completed before treating weak vapour as a heater fault.
Can the patient use the MIGHTY+ MEDIC while charging?
The device supports pass-through operation when used with an appropriate compatible power supply.
The patient reports reduced MIGHTY+ MEDIC battery life at higher temperatures. Is this normal?
